Save the date for a week of Territory hospitality

Make the most of the journey north and indulge in the iconic landscape: catch a barra, watch a Mindil beach sunset, swim under Litchfield’s waterfalls, or spot a croc in the wild.

The Pinnacle of Polocrosse Returns –  Darwin 22 – 28 June 2026

The 2026 Australian Polocrosse National Championships will ignite the Northern Territory with seven days of world-class equestrian action, community spirit and Territory hospitality.

Uniquely Australian, polocrosse fuses the speed of polo, the strategy of netball, and the toughness of rugby – thrilling crowds since 1939. The Nationals are the sports pinnacle as Australia’s top teams battle for National glory.

Returning to the Territory for the first time since 2014, the grassy, tree lined fields of Fred’s Pass Reserve, Bees Creek are recognised as one of the top five playing surfaces in Australia. Competitors and spectators alike can expect elite competition, food vans, market stalls and a social calendar designed to showcase the best of the NT.
